| Why do you think Nintendo is taking so long on the next F-zero game? Is it because Nintendo is really working hard at it and it's taking forever or do you think that Nintendo kinda gave up on the series?

| I feel that Nintendo isn't paying too much attention to F-Zero. It seems that they are more concerned with new Mario and Zelda games then some others like Kirby, Starfox and F-Zero. | |

| F-Zero GX wasn't really a financial success. I think the series is on the back burner for now, and that we won't see it pop up for a few years. | |

| I do have to agree with Ninjatiamat, even though I hate to admit it... IMAO GX was sooo good; It brought a different "theme" to the series. It was less "cutsey" and more adrenaline, so I really don't see why... | |

| I for one think that Nintendo is waiting to release another F-Zero game, because their primary concern right now is getting those games out that rely on the motion controls. Think about it, ever since the Wii dawned upon us, that is what Nintendo has really been shooting for, releasing game after game that utilize their latest and greatest technology. Nintendo never ceases to amaze me.. With that being said, the games that relied more on the actual classic controller were put on the backburner, to showcase their new technology. Now that Microsoft is releasing Natal, and Sony is doing whatever it is Sony does , Nintendo may take a step back, and keep releasing games that are "motion" friendly, while also creating new games for the older franchises that may have missed a game in this generation. The series is not dead, but it is on an extended hiatus. But, the beast will rise again.. Just give it time. | |

Correct, but, it was a marvel of great graphics and challenging gameplay. I will admit that it may not be the most popular franchise, but, Nintendo WILL make money off of it, if it were to include what we want in it.. It satisfied those who wanted it, and surprised those didn't. It still holds the position of best graphics for the Gamecube, period. What it needs in its next incarnation.. - Online - More storyline (Not just centered around Falcon, perhaps an unlockable movie for each pilot). - More customization offered; both in the characteristics of the ships, as well as maybe custom "Mii" pilots? - Weapons | |
