F-Zero VS Mario Kart

Ah yes, the infamous question that I finally decided to ask: which racing series is better, Mario Kart, or F-zero. Now I know you all know my anwser so I must back up my anwser right... now

Mario Kart was my FAV series. I still remember playing mk64 in the late 90's and LOVIN' it! But then, in April 2008 and in Early 2006, My whole view changed. F-Zero Gx PWNS over Mario Kart because:
- You need SKILL in F-Zero GX! Some 5 year old who item hacks and has 9999 vr isn't a Nintendo Freak, if you will, in my opinion. You need skill to unlock everything in F-Zero GX (which I have lol).

No, I'm saying F-Zero!!! LMAO!!! I thought I made it clear: I LIKE skill...

Agreed. F-Zero, unlike Mario Kart, is much more of a challenge. The atmosphere and speed are much superior to that of Mario Kart. MK is fun, but it's no F-Zero.

Defenitly!! It seems like MK as lost that unique aspect of skill seen in GX, the reason why I love it so very much ;P

I don't really know.

I prefer F-Zero because, like Fzerowii said, it requires skill. Unlike Mario Kart where you can be in 1st then get bombarded by items then suddenly be in 12th. That's one thing I hate about Mario Kart but I still love it. But F-Zero is better imo.

I really like the Blue Falcon in MKWII and i'm praying that's a hint for the future...

MARIO kART

F-Zero has:

- Fair, competitive game play based on SKILLS, not items and cheats.
- Characters with actual characteristics
- Kick-ass storyline.
- Intense techno influenced rock soundtrack. And for X, just great original metal compositions.

I agree with our new member in saying FZERO OWNS IN EVERY WAY!!!

Basically what the last two posts said, for me. I decided to get into F-Zero GX since my brother mitu123 used to rent it back in 2003... He wished he bought that game for Christmas if memory serves.

F zero is more of REAL racing game, mario kart is a different type.
But that is a tough choice for me...
