Yeah... do you think the mainstream media (establishment TV networks like CNN/MSNBC/Fox News/Newspapers) is going anywhere anytime soon? In terms of it's influence?
People always say "new" or "alternate" media (like for example, people who make youtube videos) is starting to replace the mainstream media and fewer people listen to the mainstream media (since usually the mainstream media pushes narratives that are misleading).
If you ask me whether I think it's going anywhere, it seems the MSM is trying really hard to take over "new" media.

Well, it does seem like every so often everyone begins to say "This is the real death knell of X." but then continues to exist and evolve anyways.

Yeah, I don't think mainstream media is going to die off or become less relevant anytime soon, and even if less people start watching TV as a whole, the mainstream media will probably just take over the new media.

I would agree that things like YouTube are more popular and I think it's a good thing. I hate watching the news because I feel like it's so biased

Yeah, as long as people are able to make videos in new media that point out the biases in mainstream news, that's something to be happy about.
